Due to the Napa County Fires, Bikes For Tots 2017 has been cancelled. Please click here for more information.
Saturday, October 21st marks the date for the beloved Bikes for Tots annual event, a boutique charity bike ride and festive dinner with a silent and live auction. Long time event ambassador and four-time U.S. National Road Race champion, Freddie Rodriguez, will lead the ride alongside current and former Pro cyclists (to be announced) with other local Napa culinary and cycling favorites including Chocolatier Chris Kollar, Chef Michael Gyetvan and Chef Chris Cosentino.
To date, over 3,800 bicycles and helmets have been donated thanks to Bikes For Tots events. We hope to make 2017 another stellar year to get kids on bikes while learning important safety and life skills along the way!
The ride starts at the Yountville North Park, with short, medium and long course options. The short course traverses Lake Hennessey towards Pope Valley and back to Yountville. The medium course heads towards the Pope Valley, and the long course heads out on the scenic rollers of Lake Berryessa. Cyclists on the medium and long courses are encouraged to take a mid-ride break at the historic Pope Valley Winery with snacks and cold drinks. All cyclists will enjoy a post ride lunch (burritos!) with assorted beverages and sweet treats.
Dinner is where the rubber meets the road, so to speak. It's the time to raise a paddle, a hand or just to commit to raising funds for bicycles and helmets for children. Your support will help programs for underprivileged youth in the East Bay and local Napa organizations including Cope Family Center, ALDEA Children & Family Services, UpValley Family Centers and Napa Emergency Women's Shelter.

The Napa County Bicycle Coalition is the only organization working exclusively to make riding a bicycle anywhere in Napa County safe, convenient, and accessible for riders of all ages and abilities. For nearly 10 years, NCBC fought for the needs of bike riders young and old, through youth and adult bicycle safety education, advocacy for more and better bike lanes and related infrastructure, and the role of bicycles in creating safer streets and more livable communities for everyone in Napa County.Learn More Make a donation
